I was born in São Paulo, Brasil in 1982, from a portuguese father and a brazilian mother.
Drawing was my main language since the beginning. Having comic books and graffiti art background, it was at São Paulo University that I first approach audiovisual : storyboarding short movies and videoclips.
When I got in Paris in 2008, I was looking forward engaging in a creative job. My admission at la Femis school was fundamental to this goal, and changed my life perspective.
There, I had the chance of having guidance from Production Designers as Anne Seibel and Jean-Vincent Puzos. Their advices were essential to transform a dream of cinema industry in my tangible reality.
In 2016, I had my first opportunity as Production Designer with french director: FJ Ossang.
His feature film, « 9 Fingers », won Locarno Film Festival Pardo for best director. Since then, I could work in around 10 feature films, in wich 4 of them premiered at Cannes Film Festival.
My last collaboration was on the movie Hanami (2024), directed by Denise Fernandes, won the Pardo for "best emerging director" in Locarno Festival this year.
I’m looking forward to keep helping directors bring their stories to a visual and sensible world.
